Vernacular Photography

Besides finding undeveloped rolls of film and seeing what’s on them (read more on that here) I also found a box with vernacular photographs, presumably all taken by the same family during their holidays.

Franka

Deze camera kreeg ik afgelopen zomer kado, het is een model uit begin jaren ’50.  Dit type toestel is een Franka Solida Record, oorspronkelijk bij hoffotograaf A.C. Stokhuyzen  te Apeldoorn gekocht.

Het echte kado was dat er  een gebruikt fotorolletje in zat! Hieronder staan de foto’s die nog het meest zichtbaar waren, de andere waren te erg aangetast door vocht.

Franse facturen

Op de antiekmarkt van het Korte Voorhout. Dozen vol met handgeschreven Franse facturen. Tussen 1900 en 1930 opgesteld voor allerlei gekochte goederen en verrichtte zaken.
