The Hague central station

The surroundings of The Hague central station have been continuously under re-development since work began on the tracks for the new light-rail tram/train ‘Randstad Rail’ for commuters from the greater The hague area, this was some five years ago. Due to all the changes in the area some small buildings became disused. One example can been seen in the photo which shows the fenced off maintenance staff entrance to, what was one day the corridor that connected The Hague central station to mixed use building (shopping mall, cinema, hotel and office building) ‘Babylon’ which is now under re-development to become ‘New Babylon’. The exit is now in use by the employees of the train station supermarket to have their sigaret break.

A previously wrote blog post contains (analogue) photos which I shot inside the corridor, which is now is a luggage area with lockers.
